Here’s a hint: it has a theme common to this one:

Are we looking at old GM cube vans? The first is a C/K cab and chassis and the second is a G cutaway?

Close, but that’s not what I’m going for.
Tags will tell you.

Old trucks still at work? Old trucks in general?

SQUAREBODY!!!!!

The first is not a C/K, it’s a squarebody!

So... a third-gen C/K? A square is still a rectangle.

Old trucks still being used for work, yeah.
I love it when I see that. Also, down the road from me there’s an early 90's F350. Powerstroke. Crew cab long box. Two-tone. Bed cap. Contractor. DD. As little love as I have for Ford in general, that thing is awesome.

BEING USED DAILY BY A BUSINESS STILL AFTER 30 YEARS!

We’ve got an early ‘80's one-ton Chevy dump truck at work that still sees regular use, and I’m pretty sure our tow truck is ‘70's vintage. It’s a three-speed with rear gears so low it won’t do more than 50 mph.

Yes, but in GM truck-nerd-dom, the term C/K is generally used for GMT-400 trucks.

GM truck nerds are weird. I’m still not wrong.

Correct on both counts.

Love it.

Yep! The best :)
I used to see them being work vehicles all the time until the last five years or so. Rust is finally taking it’s toll, and making them not so common.

My 78 k15 just smiled. I could hear it from desk. (i’ve been using it to commute while my sister has my car)

Good. It deserves it.
